The President Benjamin Harrison Foundation asked M. Goodwin Associates to develop a preliminary case statement for the American Political History Center. The purpose of the case statement was to help the foundation raise funds and garner support for the future development of this “national forum for the stimulation of public interest in our country’s political life,” with a focus on the presidential election process. Included in the report was an overview of the museum’s mission, themes, potential audiences, educational programs, exhibitions and collections, as well as a general discussion of the building program needs and development cost projections.
